I've already spilled my love for James Jean and excitement for Watchmen. I guess I should also express my adoration for vintage pin-up paintings, especially those done by Gil Elvgren. Imagine my delight when I saw this beautiful piece done by James of one of the Watchmen characters, Sally Jupiter. This was done for the film, and can be seen in the trailer during the Comedian fight scene. But it does stand as an outstanding piece on it's own. Now if I could just get my hands on one of the prints...

Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova - Falling Slowly

Anyone who has seen the film Once will recognize this song. I absolutely love this whole album (the soundtrack for Once). It's hard to pick one to post, but I guess this is as good as any. Pick up the album and see the movie as soon as possible. My favorite film of 2007 without a doubt. Just all around great.
